About Zlatni Pyasatsi
Zlatni Pyasatsi, also called Golden Sands, is a resort town on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, about 18 kilometres north of Varna. It is named for its golden sandy beach, which stretches for several kilometres along a wide bay. Development began in the mid-20th century, and it is now one of Bulgaria's largest and most popular seaside resorts. The beach is the main attraction, while the nearby nature park offers walking and exploring. Central areas around the promenade are busiest, the northern end is quieter, and the southern section is near the marina. Varna is a short drive away, and Varna Airport is the closest, with transfers taking around 30 to 40 minutes. Regular buses connect the resort with Varna and other coastal towns. Local buses and taxis serve longer trips.
