Getting there and around
Primorsko is about 50 km south of Burgas. The nearest airport is Burgas Airport, which has seasonal and year-round flights; from there you can take a taxi, rent a car, or use bus services. Buses also connect the town with Burgas, Sozopol and other coastal towns. Within Primorsko most areas are walkable, but local buses and taxis are available for longer distances. Parking can be limited in the summer, so a car is not essential if you stay near the centre, and cycling is a popular way to get around.
When to go
The best time to visit is from June to September, when the weather is warm and the sea is suitable for swimming. July and August are the busiest and hottest months, with average temperatures around 25-30°C. June and September offer milder conditions and fewer crowds. Outside the summer season many hotels and restaurants close and the town is quiet; spring and autumn can be pleasant for walking and nature visits, but swimming may be chilly.
